Weekend Getaway: Dallas

How this trip came about:
Lundy and I were watching YouTube music videos on a Saturday night 3 years ago, when we stumbled upon a group from Amsterdam called Yellow Claw. They mix EDM with Trap music. We loved the DJ trio (at the time, now 2). They were instantly on our bucket list to see live. Fast forward to a few months ago and Lundy finds out they are currently on tour and their Texas stop is in Dallas. So yeah, we bought those tickets with the quickness.

Also, there was definitely some noticeable things about that night:
*Mostly 20 year olds
*A few teen girls with their Dad (which was so cute)
*A lot of booty shorts on girls with flat asses

What I learned:
I learned that I can only handle 2.5 hours max of EDM/Trap music... Current situation - My ears hurt. 😂😂😂 Whatever, I still had a blast
DAY 2
I haven't been back to Dallas in almost 20 years. My family didn't have a great experience at a Double Tree we stayed at in the earl 90's. We can back from dinner to a racist note under our door. So I always saw Dallas as this racist place, but I'm happy I went back. I definitely enjoyed the city a lot more this time around.
Dallas is a beautiful city and we plan on visiting again soon.
We went to the Dallas World Aquarium. It was okay. I think it's a place kids would enjoy a lot more than adults.
Our Airbnb was so freakin cute! My favorite place we have stayed to date. I love when the owners cover everything you would need and them some. This was a unit apartment inside of a large house with 4 apartment units. It was very quite & we never heard our neighbors. When we go back we will most likely stay here again.
